South Pike Junior High recently participated in a professional development session led by Deanna Knowles, a digital learning coach assigned to the school through a grant from the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE). The grant was written by Jasmine Jackson, a former Curriculum Director at South Pike School District (SPSD). The session titled "Active Learning and Engagement" provided valuable insights on how to increase student engagement in the classroom. As a result of the successful session, SPJH plans to continue its partnership with Deanna and MDE through professional learning communities. This collaboration is a testament to the school's commitment to providing its students with the best possible learning experience.
