South Pike Junior High is getting ready to celebrate homecoming with Spirit Week. The week-long event is filled with fun activities, competitions, and themed dress-up days for students to participate in. The celebration will kick off on Monday with Western Day, where students are encouraged to dress up in cowboy boots and hats. On Tuesday, students can channel their inner celebrity for Movie Star/Celebrity Day. Additionally, the SPJHS homecoming court will take pictures at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday is Senior Citizen Day, where students can dress up as their grandparents or just seniors in general. On Thursday students can dress up as their favorite Disney Character. Finally, Friday is Spirit Day, where students can show their school spirit by wearing the school colors and cheering on their school team. The Homecoming Court Coronation will take place later on the same day at 4:30 p.m. To wrap up the week, the school will host the Homecoming Parade on October 6th. It's sure to be an exciting week filled with school pride and fun.
